My husband and I are poles apart in terms of comfort. I can't bear air conditioning, yes even in the tropics. He can't bear to be sticky.

My whole career was in hot, hot classrooms. The heating in winter was always inadequate, and the summers shocking.

Still, I am with you about wasting energy when the planet is calling out for help.

It's winter here, but we don't use heating until 4pm or thereabouts. It's hard, but doable.
