My FIL was a Freemason, I think for two reasons.
One was, it saw him climb the ladder at work.
The second was it gave him some respite from my MIL!!!
Then his son, my husband, married a woman called Maria - Italian, Greek, or Catholic ... take your pick!
I wondered if they'd come to a Catholic church for a wedding, but they did, and when our daughter was christened, they involved themselves happily in the service. Have no idea what my MIL said to others before or after the event. She was a difficult woman.
Was a long time ago with lots of water under the bridge,
I just LOVE your subtitle. ๐
I was thinking, anyone could set up their own little clubs and pose 'the question'.
