My best boss by far, was female. The reason for that is she led from the rear. She empowered us all, made us believe in ourselves and want to do better.

She also ensured that we got the best, state-of-the-art inservicing, and to be honest, as a staff we stayed (teachers), and grew and became the envy of other schools in the district.

We thrived under her care. We shared our practice at the local universities with student teachers, and years later we were still being stopped by these students (then teachers) and thanked for what we did.

No principal, male of female, has ever come the tiniest bit close to her.
