My advice? If you can't BE each of you characters, don't even consider writing them into a story. You have to laugh and cry as them, you have to be outraged, or compassionate, and you have to lose your 'shit' when your character is dying.

It's easy!

I write a story called "In The Name Of My Father". My husband does lots of my proofreading. One night he came in and his eyes were wt with tears. I wondered what was wrong.

"Did you cry when you wrote this?" he asked.

I felt as If I had written a best-seller.

NOTE: I haven't, to date!

Does this help JF?
