Monica as I read this I was reminded of the bombing of Hiroshima and the wonderful story of the little girl Sadako, who died thereafter. I remember reading the story to my class at the time, and crying. The folding of the 1000 paper cranes was going to prevent her from dying. It didn't. I hope nobody would be foolhardy enough to drop another bomb.
