Might I suggest to the powers that be, those who hated teaching and got into admin, that maybe we should practice subtraction.

Subtract all but informal writing in the early years.

Subtract all math that doesn't have to do with number.

Subtract any subject that doesn't need to be formally taught until high school.

Subtract education that begins and ends in a classroom where...all you can do is sit, sit, sit sit, and kids don't like it not one little bit.

Subtract the expectation that ever blessed thing has to be corrected.

Cull, cull, cull...I mean it.:)
