Medium Writers Would You Like to Write Drabbles?

A few days ago I had no idea what a drabble was and now I am inviting you to write some. Because…they’re addictive, and fun.

Like I said, a few days ago I had no idea what a drabble is. Now I do.

More importantly, they’re fun to write.

You have to write a story of 100 words exactly. No more, no less…AND you must include a given word for the day.

I know. I know. One hundred words aint much.

Still, I assure you they are easy.

This was my first, about my daughter getting married and what I was doing to prepare for it so I would be figure-perfect for the day. One word had to be used, in this case, disappear.

I also found an image to support my journey, one that I thought was very funny and appropriate in an outrageous way.

Now if you are just a wee bit tempted to write a drabble, you can read Nancy Oglesby’s guidelines here.

Elizabeth Emerald Leonard Tillerman R C Hammond John Whye Susan Wheelock James Bellerjeau I’m pretty certain you’d all be great drabblers.

Can I tempt you?

My first one is below.
