Me too. I've been attending the University of YouTube since my husband died suddenly last year.

At first I cried a lot (guess I was a bit hasty on the do-it-yourself bit,) but every success galvanised me in ways I could never have imagined.

To many men and technically-advantaged women, my gains were probably largely unimpressive, but to me they were everything.

When you find something isn't working, there are things you can do to stay the execution of parting with money that you didn't really want to. You can also stay on better terms with your ever long-suffering neighbours, who tell you not to hesitate when you need help ... they really don't mean it.

I'm here to add to your story Bev, that you can buy time, you can use girl tools to solve problems (hair dryer - who would have thunk?) and at the very least stop that accidental fall to your certain death.

Well done YOU! 😁
