Maybe she is a lucky Down Syndrome girl, Harry.

Some have degrees, run businesses, are dancers, actors. In the past, because of their poor facial muscle tone, it was assumed they were deficient. As a result, many were hidden away. I hate to think how short-changed they were!

These days many are assimilated into a normal classroom.

You may even have eaten Collette's cookies.

Found this statistic about Down Syndrome people.

.....although IQ scores of 120 have been found in some individuals with the syndrome.

I used to write about their successes, but they didn't get much traction, though I did have one boosted.

Carolyn sounds as sweet all all the DS children I grew to love. Give them a chance and they'll blow your mind.
