Margaret you already are a writer. Just write. Write about anything at all, in the first instance. In time you will find your niche, or niches. I'm now into my second year in Medium, and I still post on a wide variety of things. Like you, I don't read posts about how people made so much money. What are you interested in...the environment? Teaching and learning? You could easily write posts on HOW to write. Believe me. There are many who would benefit from this. Life lessons? As you are retired you will have oodles of experience to draw from. Just d oit and good luck!
