Many years ago we were having dinner with friends at a fine restaurant in Canberra city. One woman HATED red wit a passion.

Anyway, we ordered a bottle of wine which was off. The staff agreed that it was.

My husband was asked to order a different bottle and not worry about the price difference. He ordered a bottle of Grange Hermitage, insisting he pay the difference, and wooed our friend over to red that night.

It was a fine bottle. It's also the only time he sent a bottle back.
