Many years ago I was traveling home, alone. The lights turned green. I took off, but a car ran a red light on my right, spun me around on the road, and tore off.

I do wonder if they checked the newspapers next day to see if anyone had been killed.

My guess is that whoever was driving the car, was inebriated. Still, in the cold light of day, one's conscience would surely kick in...or would it?
