Lovely! Whoever was so kind, my heart goes out to them.

We were so close ourselves, having sold our home and in Queensland, hoping to buy a small home, when Covid struck.

Borders were closing, and so many people had nowhere to go...people in mobile home were stranded as caravan parks were closed.

A friend who has a restored church in the country offered it to us, which was lovely.

But once borders were open again, our home that we had sold, was worth twice what we sold it for, and there was nothing affordable to buy.

Desperate times, but I truly believe this makes us much better, truly compassionate people.

So many in the world are blinkered to the plight of homeless people. What they don't fully appreciate is how close they are to the tables turning on them.
