Lovely to meet you, Kanaal. I can just imagine how you felt when you walked into a classroom all those years ago, and saw only white faces. I'll tell you though, kids don't even notice color. They notice who and what you are.

I'm a teacher and one day a parent came to talk to me, She was hysterical with laughter. You see her little boy had told her that he now had a best friend and they were just like twins.

'Why is that?' she asked. Because we just think the same way, we laugh at the same things, we like the same things," and so it went on.

"So can we have a play day here?' he asked.

On the play day the doorbell rang and her son, blonde with blue eyes, ran out to greet his friend. They hugged each other then the son turned to his mother and said,"Now do you see?"

She certainly did, and those two boys remained best friends right through school.

I'm sure that was pretty much your experience too. Lovely to meet you.
