Lovely to meet you Elspeth. I'm hoping this may be one of a series on stretching, because I believe this to be number one in perfect fitness.
I'm a late convert to stretching, and a regretful spender of too much money on physios and the likes.
Stretching's made a huge difference in my life.
I was once a serious distance runner (also did a few marathons), but stretching was never factored in.
One pain in my hip (post accident) was something I thought Id have to live with, and pay for, for the rest of my life ... and then I found stretching, and hey presto it's now gone.
Of course I'm not dumb enough not to know it's waiting in the wings if ever I forget the exercise.
I love the idea that stress can impact the body in ways I'd never have considered, so now your article is being bookmarked for ready reference.
Thanks for including an article on stretching. I haven't read it as yet but hope it contains some information on butt pain (aided and abetted by prolonged sitting, maybe slouching, I'm sure).
PS: I've now read the article about where one stores stresses in the body, and butt is not mentioned. But all of this is a great start.
😁
