Lovely poem. Of course since Beth's birth, so much has changed and hope has supplanted fear.

Children with Down Syndrome today enjoy employment and lives of fulfillment. Some go to university, others train, (one in Canberra is a florist,) a few run their ow businesses, with help. All of them are out in the community interacting and enjoying their lives in so many ways.

So much is now in place for when the children go to school.

I don't remember ever teaching a DS child I didn't love. Many of them are bundles of fun.

Thank you for sharing. God did have a plan. :)
