Life teaches us so much.

You hands, beautiful or otherwise, are part of your box of physical tools. But you already know that.

Two comments about things that popped into my head when I read this lovely post are, Kasey:

I once said to my mother that I hated my legs.

She looked up from her sewing and said, "I wouldn't mind them." She was a polio victim. I was so shamed.

The other thought was about the ten children seriously injured in a bus crash last week, not so far from where I live in Australia. Some of them are without arms now.

I imagine your hands are doing just fine...ore than fine.
