Liberty, this took me back in time to things that happened to my mum, mostly because of her polio disability (a term she hated with passion).

When I consider some of these I realise how incredibly courageous she was, how stoic and determinedly positive she chose to be, despite the difficulties.

I recall reading your story when it happened and even then I was amazed by your courage.

And now small steps are leading you to have more and more faith in the power of healing.

I'm finding my weeks fly past Liberty, and my intentions to write are simply wiped out by other pressures, but I will try to get my act together this week. Lovely article, as always.
