Liberty my mum was a polio victim and every Scottish winter was a nightmare for her. So many times she would fall in the snow and ice.

When we all left Scotland, she decided that she and Dad would come to Australia, which was the best thing she ever did, except she lost a finger in New Zealand, something I have written about.

She is my role model. She faced every day with determination and courage. I sense that in you too.
