Last Night We Met A Group Of People For The Very First Time
They would never have suspected they were being viewed as consequential strangers…
“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”
Let’s face it. Relocating is not for the faint-hearted. It’s a stressful transition from one home, to another, and the onus on you is to make the resultant new house, your home.
It doesn’t matter how young or old you are, moving tears at your heart strings, and stressors abound.
The problem with most of us is, we probably don’t move often enough.
We raise our families in one home, and often stay there, rattling around in our space, living in the left-hand margin, long after the children have gone.
Sadly that ‘home’ can never be the home that it once was, with the sound of children coming and going, needing help, demanding this and that, a veritable round of busyness.
When they flee the nest, so much is lost, gone forever, and yet, we stay.
