Just this morning I read this perfect post by Janice Harayda about the importance of finding the perfect image to sell your story.

An editor for an agency where she once worked posed this question.

“Have you noticed that whenever we do a story on a mobster, we run his First Communion picture next to the mug shot?”

Why might that be? Because immediately one is taken on a journey starting from innocence to who knows, and the writer has the reader hooked.
