Just a little warning before you read this post…if you are the perfect parent, if you have never been at loggerheads with your children, if your relationship with them is ever-perfect, then congratulations. You need read no further.

If, however, you fall into the category of parent whose patience has at times been stretched to the limit, or if you have responded to your children in a manner that later makes you cringe, then congratulations to you too. Your know you can do do better.

Parenting is a tough gig that demands we
