Jody I like to think that critical thinking is taught here in Australia.

Of course I can't speak for university education so much, though I have a little experience there.

But certainly in primary education it is woven into the curriculum.

The picture you paint, is both bleak and frightening.

Perhaps when you are retired with a little more time on your hands, and free to speak as you would like, you will think of ways to cut through the morass you are presently witnessing.
