I've been fortunate to not have to have too much surgery in my life. C-section to have my daughter (woke up in theater OMG!). My surgeon came back from sabbatical just for me. I had no idea he would be there until I was going into theater. That was very special.

Surgery for a mammary duct infection (after Bougainville) and very fortunate to get a female surgeon who realized what was going on. She was just recovering from the same problem.

I had faith in both doctors, great after care, so I have no opinion on male or female physicians. Both were terrific.
