It’s the same here, Carole. So many people are drowning in stuff. I personally can’t bear it. We have some fabulous opp shops here. It took me a while to turn my thinking around, but every time I thought of those people caught in the grid of making so that the rest of us could indulge, I just made two decisions. The first was to live with less. The second was to stand up for those who have no voice.

I don’t buy lots of stuff, but I do buy things unworn, with tags, and and a few things that are in the best condition. Of course we are all in such a privileged situation that we CAN choose. It’s sad that so much is determined by the country of your birth.
