To be honest I have switched off from a lot of this Aarti. This is a good post, but I'm reading it after responding to this article, where a brand new position (period dignity officer, (yes, women's periods) has been handed over to a young male of 27....sometimes I feel we have come a long way. Often I think otherwise. Having worked in an industry that marginalized women for years (teaching) and promoted males, I doubt, at times that we have come such a long way.
