Interestingly Janice, my grandfather never talked of the war. Not even to his own children. War changed all involved. How could it do anything else?

For the life of me I simply cannot understand any of what is going on right now, Putin, his oligarch supporters, the greed and need for power. What is all of that if we kill and pillage, and cause untold harm to each other? How can we blindly draw swords and kill? What is to be had?

I can't watch this stuff. My tears of incredulity blind me. Life for all of us is meaningless if we cannot live in peace with one another.
