In my last year of high school, two of my friends were at least one third grey.

It's a Celtic thing I am told.

I have coloured my hair forever, but when borders were locking down during Covid, and we were up in Queensland with no home, that is, house hunting, we decided we needed to get back to Canberra.

Not doing so, would have rendered us homeless.

so, my husband decided to get a haircut from his local barber/hairdresser before we left.

He came out and said she would do mine!

I was not so sure, but in the end I caved in and went inside.

She gave me the best haircut ever, but also said I should consider not colouring my hair. She also advised me on how to go about it.

It was the best thing I have ever done.

The whole exercise was painless, I am far happier with it, and best of all it's cheap. I pay for a great cut and to blazes with colouring.
