I'm wondering what nutritious things we can put in kids' lunch boxes. We have a huge dilemma here.
We do allow non-foods, with huge amounts of colouring and flavouring, in lunch boxes and in tuck shops, and teachers have borne the brunt of bad behaviour post consumption. It's not pretty.
Many parents, at least here, were delighted they could at least pack some convenience foods like nut and fruit combos.
When I mentioned isolating, that meant isolating them from anyone eating nuts, never sitting alone.
Then of course we get into brushing teeth after eating, and supervising that happening.
We can easily squeeze that task into the overcrowded curriculum.
