I'm so happy to have struck a chord here, Rachel.

I understand that cost is a big thing in all of this, but you can stretch it out a little with raw eggs, shells and all. Ten all the other stuff that we humans have forgotten to eat, the gizzards , the hearts and so on. Nose-to-tail eating is better for all of us.

I was secretly so proud of the dogs' improved health, and I'm sure you feel the same way at the shelter.
