I wonder too about the ones in Australia.
We really haven't changed our educational system so much over that last two hundred years. Sure we've added bells and whistles, things are more colourful and attractive, and teachers for the most part, display empathy.
But if my children were going to school today I would want so much more. I would want them to love the planet, to realise they are custodians of that same planet, and to understand the urgent need for change.
To that end we need thinkers, influencers, and custodians.
There's a book you may enjoy. It was written quite a few year ago, but its message is valid now.
