I was out walking one day and noticed a pesticide merchant spraying on school grounds. It was just after nine. I finished my walk and went over to talk to the men, who happened to be very nice. I explained my concern that he was spraying at all, but in school time, and the students would be out playing in an hour or so. I also told him I was once a teacher. He agreed with everything I said, but hey, that was his job!

When I got home I called the principal and had a not -so-healthy discussion. She told me that it was routine practice!

No wonder we are all getting sick.
