I was about to say: Don't get me started on book banning, and then I noted another writer has said the same.
Still, it's how I feel. We learn from the past, we see parallels in the present, and good teachers use them effectively in the classroom, hopefully to be lessons for the future.
And now Jill, I am forced to buy the book and read it once more.
I'm wondering, was banning said books a promotional exercise? How many people rushed out to buy original copies?
Brilliant summation of the book, Jill. Thank you.
