I thought about you in the last few days, Charles, and wondered what action you might have taken.

Actually, I don't wonder. I know.

I'd just read this story about an old man who'd seen better days struggling into a charity shop asking if he could get some clean warm clothes. He was treated so badly by the staff, even calling management to deal with him.

There was a woman there looking for an outfit for a dress up party.

She ended up buying him several outfits, plus a heavy blanket to keep him war at night.

She shared her story because she basically was disgusted that this poor man was judged and deemed a lesser being by the staff.

I have witnessed this kind of stuff before, and it makes me wonder where the charity is. It can't happen when those who have deem themselves better than those who have not.

If only we could have more people like you who are willing to help people turn corners, willing to share your fallibility, willing to provide hope to those who have none. Surely the world would be a better place.
