I think you're doing just fine, Susan. Have you thought about volunteering? I think a day spent with strangers is really quite lovely, and knowing you are fulfilling a need, is even better.

As for your children, take a bow. None of them is in jail. All are pursuing careers. You have so much to be proud of.

Enjoy the hiatus between now, and the business of grand parenting. It will arrive sooner than expected.
