I remember spending six months way out in the country. By day it was wonderful, but by night with NO light it was terrifying.

One day a severe storm took us by surprise, and suddenly we had no electricity inside, while the windows shattered and broke.

We were hiding under the dining table waiting for some light. It never came, so we had to use our phones just to get to our bedroom.

The next morning, with no water or electricity, we drove to the neighbouring village to get some food.

Seems they'd had no storm.

I should have mentioned we were living in a restored church then.

It was good to leave.
