I remember reading about a family who gave up technology for one whole year. The parents stated that the family had never been more connected, or happy.

But at the end of the year they decided to reintroduce technology so their children could keep up at school.

Such a dilemma. Seems we have no choice.

There are green schools around, some here in Australia, where student learning is outdoors, and very much exploratory, It's subtly-guided, of course, but kids love it.
