I remember distinctly, some of the pearls of wisdom proffered by a particular primary teacher.

She said we don't start ageing till we reach 21.

At the ripe old age of whatever I was, maybe ten, I thought that a little strange. What are birthdays after all, but markers of age?

She was the same teacher who said nobody had actually seen a heart!! Strange the things we remember.

I remember my mother's aunt. At 62 her doctor described her as a tired old lady.

What???
