I must remember never to grow this old. Have you thought about inviting them over for coffee? Theirs could be a case of loneliness.

I think in the business of our lives, when we wish we could find a few extra hours and the energy to match, we can easily forget that someone, somewhere, just needs a friend.

You know even if they are grumps, I bet you one invitation would turn things around.

Just remember to get your boys to wash their hands before passing the scones around!!

And just another thought...sounds like she is the one calling the shots.

Wish I could remember the children's book that dealt with something like that. The turnaround was lovely.
