I might look into this. You're right though Marcia. When we first started eating them the skins were smooth. I'd like to find out if the others are GM.

When we lived in PNG, avocados were enormous, smooth, and cost about 10 cents.

I know it was a long time ago, but still $3.50 is hard for families.
