I loved your twittle and you story, Sherry. How wonderful!

We have one daughter, the child we had when we gave up trying, and she is an absolute joy.

When I was the ripe old age of 36 I applied to adopt, and was told I was too old!

When I subsequently went to my doctor to try to get help in having another child, I was told I was too old. What that doctor didn't say was that he was going through a divorce and had negative thoughts about babies.

When a student's mother was killed by her policeman husband and I offered to foster him at least, I was told I was too close to the situation.

So for you I say, how delightful that you were chosen to be the mother of your very handsome son.

Well done universe. :)
