I loved\ the heat, Amanda, and still do, but for years Christmas in Australia just wasn't Christmas.

Now that I do very little for the occasion, it doesn't matter.

I no longer buy gifts, but I will bake for friends, and that is nice...always served on a lovely op shop plate, I don't go anywhere near shops.
