I have worked in our local university and I suggest you contact student welfare. There can be clashes of personalities, and if that is the case, then a face to face meeting with welfare is vital. I suggest you and your husband be at the meeting.

Write down all your concerns. Are other students being treated in the same way? If so, what are the obvious similarities?

I've been there with my own daughter and it was so stressful. She was younger and it affected her for years, maybe to this day, truth be told.It was harrowing at the time, and I shed many tears over it.

I know you will do this in a positive way. Its actually the only way to be honest. If this person does pick on students, I imagine there will be many more who have approached welfare.

Good luck Susan. :)
