I have tears in my eyes as I write this Keri. My mother was a polio victim and, like your mother, never asked for help. Lord knows, with hindsight she sure needed it! There were seven children (good old Catholic family!), and she was forever on the go. There was nothing she couldn't, or wouldn't do, and even when diagnosed with cancer, she hardly missed a beat until the last few months.

My goodness we neglected her, not intentionally so, but we did.
