I have heard many people say much th same. My BIL now has dementia, a mathematician who traveled the world with his category theory and the likes, who now lives on his 'smarties' a twice-daily concoction and has no idea why hes here.

I will see if I can find you another story about a man with multiples conditions on multiple meds. It's very worrying.
