I have a friend who never cries.

She found her father dead. He had suicided because he didn't want to be a burden. He had cancer and she is an only child.

She found her husband dead. She had gone out to pick her daughter from the airport. He had Parkinson's.

She spoke at each of the funerals.

It's not that she doesn't feel raw emotions. She is able to control them.
