I find as I get older, that days just fly by, and feel my productivity is down. This leaves me far from focussed on any kind of perfect day.
But in sincerity, my perfect day starts off so much better than it had been up to starting your breathing exercises. I find my sleep quality is hugely better, not always uninterrupted, but often it is, and that allows me to jump out of bed feeling so much more alive.
My day always starts with the perfect cup of coffee, home-made organic, and at the optimal temperature.
I follow that with a power walk, or if it's on the cool side, I will check notes for writing.
Sometimes it goes well, but on other days not so.
If I'm stumped I go for that walk, cold weather or not, and often make notes as I go.
I find it difficult to push myself when creativity is low...gardening is my alternative.
My days are busy, maybe too busy for someone supposedly retired.
