I feel the same, Susan. It seems to me the more you have the less you share. The corollary of that must surely be the less you share the poorer you are.

I don't associate with rich people, but one I know watched her daughter, with three children and a broken marriage struggle to find rental accommodation. In the end, her ex husband took out a mortgage for his daughter. The mother could so easily have opened her wallet.

The point I was trying to make is that we humans expect, and get so much from other life forms on the plant, and some give nothing back.
