…d newspaper, Grammarly works on the assumption that your audience has an average reading age of 9. If you use a word with three syllables, that’s a ding. A sentence with more than 15 words? Another ding. Use a three-syllable word in a 15-word sentence, and the algorithm coughs, rolls over and dies.
