I can't possibly challenge you on that James. It's your experience, and I have no doubt there are many groups that still behave ethically.

Right now there's another explosion in the wine industry. The same conglomerates I talked about have been fashioning their own fanciful, almost romantic labels depicting wineries in the Barossa , Valley, a beautiful wine area, all designed to make the unwary believe that's where they are buying from, then filling the bottles with cheap wines from areas most would avoid. I see that deception as criminal. Yes one could argue buyer beware.
If the wine industry fails, there will be an enormous fallout.
I could go on...the fashion industry and its practices that have wrought unconscionable environmental devastation, not to mention the impact it has had on the lives of desperate 3rd world country employees...
As billionaire numbers rise, I ask, how many life years it would take to ethically become one?
